Caitlyn Morrell
MSN, APRN, FNP-C
I am a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Currently licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania as a Nurse Practitioner. I have collaborated with Dr Eric Miller, whom has many years of experience with telemedicine, weight loss medicine and general medicine.
Living in a very rural part of Pennsylvania really opened my eyes to the lack of medical care locally. Off hours and weekend medical care consists of traveling at least 45 minutes and waiting in long lines. Additionally with the pandemic, I realized that many offices are not always able to see patients in the office setting quickly. I want to make it more convenient for my community to get exceptional medical care in a quick and convenient way.
I grew up in Southern Maryland and moved to the tristate area in 2014. After becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) at the College of Southern Maryland in 2013, I earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Frostburg State University in 2014. I obtained my Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2020, and have obtained my national certification through the AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have spent my first year after graduating working in a primary care office which I fell in love with. My vision for Morrell Advanced Practice is to become a primary care office where our patients are known by name when they walk in and always feel welcome and heard. As well as to provide convenient medical care to patients of all ages for acute concerns.
Additionally, I have always struggled with weight concerns of my own. To be able to provide medical weight loss options and education to my patients is a dream come true and very rewarding. I look forward to impacting the lives of the patients I treat.
In my medical experience, I have worked in primary care, the emergency room, the PACU at an outpatient surgery center, the Progressive Care Unit, and on the Medical Surgical/Orthopedic floors. I have experience with patients of all age groups.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and husband, 2 children and my dog, Scout. Additionally I enjoy craft beer, distance running and Crossfit.

Christine is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for merging Eastern and Western medicine to holistically treat the whole person - mind, body, & soul. She strives to motivate patients to be involved in their healthcare, fosters shared decision-making, and aims to investigate and treat underlying causes of disease rather than just symptom management.
With over a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse, Christine’s background includes long-term care, ICU, primary care, emergency medicine, including trauma & mental health crisis, outpatient infusion services, and occupational health. Most recently, she has had the pleasure of working at the VA caring for our Veterans and as a unit-based educator. Before nursing, she played collegiate soccer while earning a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry.
Christine’s mother ignited her desire to help others through international medical mission trips as “summer vacations” and continues to be her inspiration every day. She enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, cooking (and being a “foodie”), and anything outdoors (sports, backpacking, kayaking, snowboarding & skiing). Her favorite thing to do is frolic around with her three-year-old son.
Christine is excited to be working alongside the most compassionate and hard-working colleagues, Allison Wade and Caitlyn Morrell, and is eternally grateful for their mentorship.
